The Clásico de México, the biggest game in the continent, is a friendly match that is played in the U.S. annually and is expected to be the largest Mexican-themed celebration this year in the United States.
Mexico’s biggest rivalry began almost 65 years ago and it involves Mexico City’s Club América and the Chivas de Guadalajara. The last time this match was held in Los Angeles was in 2018 at the LA Coliseum under the name Súper Clásico and it attracted over 60,000 fans to the downtown venue.
This game is much more than a soccer game as it features cultural and entertainment events leading up to match day, as well as a day-long Fan Fest on game day with live music, traditional food, legendary players from both Clubs, mascots, and much more.
